THE LAST PAYPHONE?

This is my personal blog. Basically a place I use to capture the thoughts that I want to either share publicly or save into perpetuity -- usually both.

Why’d I call it The Last Payphone? I don’t know, really. I’ve just always seen something honest and romantic –  and yet lonely and haunting at the same time – in payphones. As a kid, I used to love to stick my fingers in the change slot on the random chance I’d find a dime or a quarter.

I couldn’t even tell you the last time I used one, though. With the advent of cell phones, I can’t imagine the technology being around for much longer. I read somewhere that the last payphone was manufactured in 2009. And that kinda bums me out for some reason.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Feel free to comment on any of the posts – I’d love to hear from you.
